365 nM wavelength
UV Fluorescence - a very impressive 14 LED light that pushes the limit of 'normal' black lights. This shines at a wavelength of 365nM. It extends the usage age of blacklights to the very low limits of "ultraviolet". This is very well constructed and comes in a metal tin for storage. Particularly good at hotel room inspections, semen inspection, mineral hunting (diamonds etc), surface defects with dyes, magnetic surface analysis, counterfeit money, drivers licenses - and the list goes on! Most individuals use the regular 395 nm as a black light. If you are guessing which one to use, do not use this one. This has a special wavelength that the causal user will probably not want.
As you can see, they look similar to the 395 nM black lights that we offer.
Please read the following:
This light is different. The wavelength is 365 nM. That is rather low for the "traditional" black light. In particular, this will also show up things like driver's licenses, UV curing and counterfeit money, to name a few. All of the other black lights we offer are between 380 and 396 nM in wavelength. It is seldom you will see, for sale, this low of a wavelength light source - except in specialty items like money counterfeit detectors and such.
Since this shines at 365 nM - please understand that the strength of the light is less than one that is 395 nM. This is because 365 nM (wavelength) is not as strong as than the higher wavelengths. Different colors of light are stronger than some others - this is because of the wavelength (nM).
